Dear Friends in Christ:

"Israel, the Lord who created you says, 'Do not be afraid-I will save you.  I have called you by name-you are mine.  When you pass through deep waters, I will be with you; your troubles will not overwhelm you. When you pass through fire, you will not be burned; the hard trials that come will not hurt you.  For I am the Lord your God, the holy God of Israel, who saves you.'"  Isaiah 43:1-3.

I am looking forward to PWOC starting up again this new year at the Main Post Chapel.  I have several reasons for saying this.  First, because I am appreciative of your ministry through PWOC to our military families. You bring both spiritual and physical help to our women of the military during these tough times.

This new year will bring trying times to all of us in the military. Through the PWOC you remind those who attend that God cares for them, knows them by name and stands with them during times of trial.

The second reason I look forward to the PWOC meeting again at the MPC is all the babies and infants that attend!  It reminds me of my new status as a "Grandpa".  It is a great ministry that these new mothers get a "break" like the one you provide them.  I thank God for the mentoring and spiritual guidance given to all those who attend.

In appreciation of the ministry provided by PWOC at Ft Lewis let me offer the following prayer:

      GOD... HOW GREAT THOU ART!

If God brings you to it,

He will bring you through it.

Happy moments, Praise God.

Difficult moments, seek God.

Quiet moments, worship God.

Painful moments, trust God.

Every moment, thank God.

Keep Hope alive in Christ!
